The Game of the Day fulfilled all the expectations holding suspence till the end. Dangerous moments from both teams, unscored penalty and a goal on the closing minutes – all the finest things football can afford were on the pitch of Annenki tonight.
The game from the starting moments has shown its mutual character but for the time being no dangerous moments happened. The most promissing moment happened at 33d minute when Ivan Rodin didn’t score a penalty. This moment fueled Torpedo and affected our team a lot. In the last minutes of first half guests didn’t utilize a couple of very good moments. Alexey Chernov performed two great saves after two moments that had Torpedo players.
The halftime let Kaluga calm down and for the second half Kaluga went even more aimed for atack. One of the moments turned to a goal on the 60th minute when Dmitri Baranov scored a header after a cross from the set piece. 1:0. After it both teams had their moments and Torpedo had a 1005 moment on the 70th minute but Sadykhov’s shot went straight to the bar. In 8 minutes Torpedo finally managed to score. Chernyshov equaled the digits with a header.
Kaluga didn’t give up and on the 85th minute Alexander Petrov scored after a one on one moment with the goalkeeper having given Kaluga a very important 2:1 victory.
